Walkersville Volunteer Fire and Rescue Companies Escort Santa Into Town

Children all around Walkersville lined the streets of every neighborhood as emergency equipment slowly made their way through town with a very special passenger. Maryland State Police led the procession of Walkersville Volunteer Fire and Rescue Companies’ equipment. In the middle of it all, Santa Clause rode on the back of the fire company’s 1940 fire engine. Children cheered with excitement as Santa and his elf tossed peppermint lollipops to all the children.
